Dr. Little became the associate dean of graduate medical education of the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine in February 2018. Prior to his position as associate dean at ARCOM, he was the program director for the Family Medicine Residency Program at the Choctaw Nation, Talihina, OK.  Dr. Little is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. As a family physician, he has a vast knowledge of primary care medicine and health policy and appreciates the vital role primary care physicians have in training the next generation of osteopathic physicians. Little received his doctorate from Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Oklahoma.

While serving as the program director for the family medicine residency program, Dr. Little developed a passion for graduate medical education (GME).  “ARCOM has given me the opportunity to help shape the GME landscape for our future osteopathic physicians in Arkansas. I am excited about the future of Osteopathic Medicine in Arkansas. ARCOM will certainly shift the Paradigm for the underserved in rural healthcare.”

Dr. Little has many interests outside the scope of medicine. He is married to Dr. Sharon K. Little, also an accomplished osteopathic family physician. The couple have 3 grown children and are the grandparents of 4 granddaughters. The Littles enjoy traveling, recently visiting Malta, Israel and Jordan. On any given Saturday in the fall, you can catch them in front of the TV or at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, OK, rooting for the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
